Due to genetic causes or as a result of childbirth, many women have breasts that lack the volume they would wish for. In order to achieve the ideal shape and size, implants are inserted, which as well as enlarging the breasts, also give them the shape that the patient desires.

Different implants are available, from round to anatomic, which we adapt to the patient’s needs. The incision is made following the areola, in the fold under the breast or inside the armpit, and, depending on the thickness of the tissue, above or below the pectoral muscle.

After 24 hours the patient can have a shower, drive, and start working, as long as it is not too physically strenuous. The stitches do not need to be removed.
