Dr. Orestes Fernández specialist in body contouring

Dr. Orestes Fernández is a specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery, with over three decades of experience in advanced body surgery and aesthetic remodeling techniques. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Havana in 1984, where he began his specialized training in plastic surgery, in addition to gaining experience in intensive care and treatment of burn patients.

Throughout his professional career, he has held positions of responsibility, highlighting his tenure as head of the plastic and aesthetic surgery department for four years at the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital, one of the most prestigious hospitals in Latin America.

Dr. Fernández is recognized for his innovative profile within body surgery, being a world pioneer in minimally invasive techniques for buttock lifting and projection using cone sutures and fillers, as well as a pioneer in Spain in Body Lift procedures, especially indicated for patients after post-bariatric surgery.

In addition, he has developed advanced abdominoplasty techniques with lymphatic system preservation to promote faster recoveries and reduce complications, and he is an expert in body remodeling through liposuction, lipofilling, and comprehensive body contouring.

He is currently part of the medical team at the Instituto de Benito, where he develops his clinical practice specializing in body contouring, post-bariatric surgery, liposculpture, and body rejuvenation procedures, combining technical innovation, surgical safety, and natural results.
