The most common procedures include rhinoplasty (nose job) to refine the nose, mentoplasty to soften or project the chin, jaw contouring to reduce pronounced angles, a brow lift to open up the eyes, and forehead reshaping. This is the area that most changes how the upper third of the face is perceived. The ridge that protrudes above the brows is reduced and the curve of the forehead is reshaped. Doing so also changes the point where the nose begins, so the two areas are planned together.

Adding projection to the cheekbone and reducing the volume of the cheek changes how light falls across the face. Depending on the case, this is done with your own fat, with buccal fat removal (bichectomy) or by combining both.
Defining the cervicomental angle complements the work on the jaw; without it, the lower third can look unbalanced.
