What is bichectomy?
The bichectomy is an aesthetic surgical procedure that involves the partial removal of the Bichat's fat pads, which are accumulations of fat located in the middle part of the cheeks, with the aim of slimming and defining the facial contour.
It is performed through a small incision inside the mouth, so it does not leave visible external scars. The result is a face with a more streamlined appearance and greater definition in the cheekbone and jawline area.
It is a procedure indicated for people who wish to reduce the volume of the cheeks when it does not respond to weight loss and who seek a more defined and harmonious facial profile.
Types of Bichat Ball Augmentation with Surgery
Intraoral Extraction

Customized Partial Bichectomy

What does a Bichat ball extraction involve at IdB?
