Instituto de Benito International Plastic Surgery
Elite plastic surgery clinic in Madrid and Barcelona. An exclusive expert per area (facial, breast, body). Personalized attention for foreign patients.

Patients travelling from another country
Instituto de Benito treats patients who travel from other countries. All our advisors and all our surgeons speak English, so you deal directly with the person who will operate on you, with nobody translating in between.
The first consultation can be held by video call before you travel: it costs €50, which is deducted if you decide to have surgery. It is with the surgeon who would operate on you, and the check-ups afterwards can continue by video call once you are back home.
To arrange one, choose the video consultation option when you request an appointment. If you would rather write to us first, tell us which country you are writing from and what you are considering.

Questions from patients coming from abroad
Do you treat patients from other countries?
Yes. We regularly see patients who travel from outside Spain to have surgery in Barcelona or Madrid.
Will you see me in English?
Yes. All our advisors and all our surgeons speak English, both at the consultation and during follow-up.
Can I have the first consultation before travelling?
Yes, by video call. It covers your case, which technique fits it and what it would cost, before you arrange the trip. It is held by the same surgeon who would operate on you.
How much does the video consultation cost?
€50. It is paid when booking and deducted from the price if you decide to have surgery. The first in-person visit costs €80.
Who will operate on me?
The same surgeon who assesses you at the first consultation. There is no separate team in theatre.
Where does the operation take place?
In an operating theatre, with a qualified anaesthetist and hospital admission. In Barcelona at Clínica Diagonal; in Madrid at Hospital San Francisco de Asís. Consultations, dressings and check-ups take place at our clinics.
How are the check-ups done once I am back home?
Post-operative check-ups can continue by video call. If an in-person review is needed at any point, we tell you.
