A mommy makeover is several surgeries in a single operation, and that changes what is worth asking before you decide. It matters who operates, but also how many hours it takes, where you spend the night and who sees you in the days afterward. In Barcelona we see you at the clinic at Av. Diagonal, 490, 1º 1ª, in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi.
You are assessed by Dr. Orestes Fernández, from the clinic's body surgery team. At that first visit it is decided what to combine, because not every patient needs the same thing. Some need tummy and breast surgery, some only the tummy with a little liposuction, and some come in thinking of all three and leave with two. The center is authorized by the health authority under registration number E08585688.
The price starts from €12,000 and varies depending on the procedures combined. Financing is available for up to 48 months, with 12 months interest-free.
Combining surgeries means more time in the operating room, and with it greater demands on the team and on patient selection.

From first contact to discharge, this is what happens and where it happens if you have a mommy makeover in Barcelona.
At Av. Diagonal, 490, in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, with the surgeon who will operate on you. The abdomen, breasts and body contour are assessed, and it is decided what to combine and in what order. It costs €80, which is deducted if you decide to have surgery.
Blood tests, an electrocardiogram and the anesthesiologist's assessment. If you are coming from out of town, they are scheduled on the same day as your consultation to save you a trip.
The surgery is performed at Clínica Diagonal, under general anesthesia. It takes between 4 and 6 hours and you will stay one or two nights. Come with someone to accompany you.
Check-ups with your specialist are included in the price and always take place in Barcelona. They are concentrated in the first weeks and then become less frequent.

It is recommended to wait at least six months after you finish breastfeeding, with your weight already stable. Until then the tissues keep changing. The date is decided at the consultation.
It is not an absolute contraindication, but a new pregnancy can change the abdomen and breasts again. That is why it is advisable to have surgery once you are no longer planning further pregnancies.

We are at Av. Diagonal, 490, 1º 1ª, in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. By metro, take lines 3 and 5 to the Diagonal stop; the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (L6, L7, S1 and S2) and bus lines V13, V15 and H8 also stop nearby.
In addition to the nights in the hospital, it is advisable to stay in the city for the first few days for the initial dressing changes. Our front office schedules the consultation and the pre-operative tests together to reduce travel.
It is best to have someone who can drive come with you, because you will not be able to do so after the procedure. The clinic is on Av. Diagonal, with good access from the ring roads and public parking garages on the nearby streets.
