What is facial radiofrequency with Exilis®?
Facial radiofrequency with Exilis® is a cabin ritual that uses controlled heat to firm the face and rejuvenate the skin from within, stimulating your own collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. The equipment emits monopolar radiofrequency that the specialist regulates during the session. The heat penetrates deeply (always within your tolerance), and the more heat we can sustain, the greater the stimulation. The result is built session by session: firmer skin, more defined oval, softened wrinkles, and restored luminosity.

What does the Exilis® facial session consist of?
The session is very simple and is done entirely in the wellness cabin.
Arrival and zone confirmation
You inform the specialist what you want to work on (full face, upper third, or lower third) and she confirms the session plan.
Skin cleansing and makeup removal
The specialist thoroughly cleanses and removes makeup from the area to ensure it is free of creams and makeup.
Application of the conductive gel
A conductive gel is applied to allow the Exilis® head to glide and optimize heat transmission.

What is the cost of a facial radiofrequency treatment
The treatment rates are structured based on the area to be treated and the continuity of the protocol. Treatment on the facial third (upper or lower) is priced from €80, while the full face starts at €250. To achieve more complete and lasting results, a cycle of 4 sessions is recommended, with rates adjusted according to the treated area. Once the desired result is achieved, maintenance sessions are advised every 4 to 6 weeks, with prices starting from €80, tailored to the needs of each patient.

Facial radiofrequency with Exilis® at Wellness IdB Barcelona is performed by qualified technical staff with official training in the Exilis® brand. Each protocol is standardized by area and objective, and is tailored to you in the cabin.
Before booking, keep in mind
Although Exilis® is a very well-tolerated ritual suitable for almost any profile, there are specific situations where we postpone or do not apply the session, in the interest of your safety. If you identify with any of these cases, write to us before booking and the specialist will review it with you.
• If you are pregnant, we leave radiofrequency for later.
• If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or any implanted electronic device, the session is not for you.
• If you have metal implants or metal dental pieces in the area we are going to treat, we consider another wellness option.
• If there is a skin lesion, irritation, inflammatory acne outbreak, active cold sore, or active infection in the area, we wait until the skin is completely healthy.
• If you are undergoing active oncological treatment or have a tumoral pathology in the area, radiofrequency is not applied.
• If you have recently had hyaluronic acid fillers, botulinum toxin, or thread lifts,
we wait at least 2-4 weeks (consult with the specialist).
• If you have had a recent facial laser session or have sensitized skin, we wait for its recovery.
• If you are under 18 years old, the session is not included in the wellness catalog.

Do you offer Exilis® facial radiofrequency in Madrid?
No. The Wellness IdB area operates only in Barcelona. At the Madrid headquarters of Instituto de Benito, we offer different services. If you live outside Barcelona and want to undergo the Exilis® cycle, we can plan the 4 sessions in weekly visits.
How many sessions do I need?
4 sessions, one per week. This is the exact guideline for the treatment to take effect: radiofrequency works on the growing cell of the basal layer of the skin, and since not all cells grow at the same time, we need weekly sessions to reach those that join the cycle each week. Afterwards, a maintenance session every 4-6 weeks.
What areas can be treated?
Full face (40-45 min) or one of the two thirds (about 20 min each):
• Upper third: from cheekbones upwards (forehead, eye contour, temple, high cheekbones).
• Lower third: from cheekbones downwards, including neck (jawline, double chin, neck).
Does facial radiofrequency with Exilis® hurt?
No. The sensation is a pleasant deep warmth. The specialist adjusts the intensity to your tolerance: the more heat we can sustain, the better we stimulate collagen and elastin. After the session, skin is pink for 30-60 minutes.
Is it the same as a facelift?
No. A facelift is a surgery that repositions tissues in the operating room and requires recovery. Exilis® is a non-invasive wellness ritual that firms the skin and improves the facial contour without surgery, needles, or downtime, stimulating your own collagen and elastin. Can you sunbathe after an Exilis® session?
Yes. There is no specific restriction. However, we recommend good photoprotection as part of your usual daily routine, just like any other day.
Can I go to the gym or wear makeup afterward?
Yes, without waiting. You can resume your routine immediately.
Does it work the same in summer and winter?
Yes. The time of year does not affect the result or add restrictions.
Who can have Exilis® facial?
To any type of person who is not in any of the cases listed under "Before booking, keep in mind" (pregnancy, pacemakers, electronic implants, metal implants in the area, active skin infection or injury, active oncology, minors).
When will I see results?
The first changes are noticeable from the 2nd-3rd session. The result of the complete cycle is consolidated in the 3-4 weeks following the last session, as new collagen and elastin continue to be produced.
