KINTSUGI

The Renaissance of your gaze

Nature is fragile, yet it changes, blooms, and even heals its scars. The skin around the eyes is five times thinner than the rest of the face.

In the periocular area, 22 periorbital muscles converge, which we constantly use, manifesting in multiple imperfections during the skin aging process. Our vulnerability humanizes us; imperfections should be shown, incorporated, and at the same time beautified.

Five centuries ago, in the Far East, kintsugi emerged, a cherished artisanal technique aimed at repairing a broken ceramic bowl. This philosophy has been applied to the aesthetics of the gaze by the Instituto de Benito as a form of deep repair, not so much in search of change but of the harmonious correction of all those aspects that influence the gaze, from color to texture and skin quality.

KINTSUGI GLOBAL EYE TREATMENT

A treatment that manages to repair this entire area: it corrects wrinkles, bags, and dark circles, sagging, and improves pigmentation. A comprehensive 360-degree protocol that addresses each of these imperfections that appear in one of the most significant areas of our face. Its goal, like the Japanese word that inspired this treatment, is to repair and keep the area around our gaze rejuvenated.

What does it consist of? In a 360-degree protocol to improve skin quality, reduce expression lines, combat photoaging of the periocular area, thus achieving a more harmonious and fresh gaze.

STEP 1 – PEELING

Anti-fatigue and depigmenting with lactic and citric acid (among others). Then we apply, with a pressure massage, a transdermal solution (with gralba extract and phytic acid), which activates the microcirculation of this area, and finally a hydrogel mask (with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera), anti-fatigue and decongestant.

STEP 2 – MESOTHERAPY WITH ARGIBENONE

After this ritual, it is time to reduce expression lines caused by the loss of turgor. We perform a mesotherapy session with argibenone, an effective and safe alternative for treating dynamic expression lines and photoaging. Its components are hyaluronic acid and hexapeptide ERM2: which softens visible wrinkles caused by continuous gesticulation, relaxing them.

Frequently asked questions about the kintsugi eye global treatment

What is Kintsugi Eye Global Treatment?

It is a comprehensive treatment for the eye contour inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, which aims to repair and beautify imperfections harmoniously. It acts globally on wrinkles, bags, dark circles, sagging, and pigmentation, improving the quality and texture of the periocular skin.

Why is it important to specifically treat the eye contour?

The skin around the eyes is up to five times thinner than the rest of the face, and in this area, 22 periorbital muscles are constantly used. This makes it especially vulnerable to aging, showing wrinkles, sagging, dark circles, and signs of fatigue earlier.

What does the treatment protocol consist of?

The protocol is carried out in two steps:

Step 1 – Anti-fatigue and depigmenting peeling: A peeling with lactic and citric acid is applied, followed by a transdermal solution with active extracts that stimulate microcirculation. It ends with a hydrogel mask with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera to hydrate, decongest, and provide freshness.

Step 2 – Mesotherapy with Argibenone: A mesotherapy session with hyaluronic acid and hexapeptide ERM2 is performed, which helps relax dynamic expression lines and improve the photoaging of the area.

What benefits does Kintsugi Eye offer?

- Reduction of expression wrinkles

- Improvement of bags and dark circles

- Attenuation of pigmentation

- Greater luminosity and freshness

- Improvement of skin firmness and texture

The result is a more rested, harmonious, and rejuvenated look.

Who is this treatment for?

It is indicated for people who show signs of aging in the periocular area such as dynamic wrinkles, loss of turgor, pigmented dark circles, or signs of fatigue. It is ideal for those seeking a natural improvement without resorting to surgery and who wish to treat the eyes comprehensively.
