Otoplasty corrects protruding or asymmetric ears by reshaping the cartilage through an incision behind the ear, where the scar stays hidden. From first contact to discharge, this is what happens and where if you have otoplasty in Barcelona.
At Av. Diagonal, 490, in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, with the surgeon who will operate on you. Your case is studied, the technique is defined and you leave the visit with a fixed, written quote. It lasts about an hour and costs €80, which is deducted if you decide to go ahead with surgery.
Blood tests, an electrocardiogram and an X-ray, included in the price. If you are coming from out of town, they are scheduled on the same day as your consultation to save you a trip.
The surgery is performed at Clínica Diagonal under local anesthesia and sedation, and takes one to two hours. You go home the same day. Bring someone with you, because you will not be able to drive back.
Check-ups with your specialist are included in the price and always take place in Barcelona. They are concentrated in the first weeks (wound care and stitch removal) and then spaced out.
