What to look for in gynecomastia before and after photos?
- The contour: the chest becomes flat with a masculine contour, without the volume that showed through clothes.
- Fat or gland: fat and soft gland are removed with liposuction. If the gland is firm, it is taken out through a small incision at the lower edge of the areola.
- The areola: a small amount of gland is left so the nipple does not sink in.
- The scar: with liposuction the incisions are minimal. With the areola incision, it sits on the natural border between the areola and the skin, where it is barely visible.
When do you see the result of gynecomastia?
The operation takes 90 to 150 minutes and you go home the same day. You wear a compression garment for the first weeks. Most patients return to their routine in 4 to 7 days and to social life after a week, exercise resumes between the fourth and sixth week, and the final result shows between 3 and 6 months.
