What to look for in breast augmentation before and after photos?
- Proportion: the volume is chosen according to the chest, the skin and what each patient is looking for. The augmentation enhances natural proportions rather than transforming them.
- Shape and symmetry: as well as adding volume, the augmentation can correct natural asymmetries between one breast and the other.
- Round or teardrop: the type of implant, the approach and the volume are decided at the consultation according to your anatomy. Each case description tells you which was used.
- Where the scar goes: it depends on the approach: in the fold under the breast (4-5 cm), at the lower edge of the areola or in the armpit.
When do you see the result of breast augmentation?
In the first weeks it is normal to feel swelling and pressure, and you wear a post-surgical bra so the implant settles and adapts. That is why the breast in the first days is not yet the result: you see it once the swelling has gone down.
