What to look for in facelift before and after photos?

  • Face shape and jawline: the contour of the face is defined again and the jawline sharpens.
  • Cheeks and folds: the cheeks lift, the folds soften and the face regains volume where it had lost it.
  • The neck: sagging under the jaw is corrected when the facelift includes the neck.
  • Not looking pulled: the tissues beneath the skin are repositioned first and then the skin is adjusted. Pulling only the skin, as used to be done, does not give a natural result.

When do you see the result of facelift?

The stitches around the ear come out around the sixth or seventh day, and most people return to social life between 10 and 15 days, covering any remaining bruising with make-up. Mild asymmetries in the first weeks are linked to the swelling and go with it.
