What to look for in breast reduction before and after photos?
- Volume: breast tissue, fat and skin are removed so the breast is in proportion with the rest of the body.
- Position: in every case the areola and nipple are repositioned, and the breast sits higher.
- The scar: in moderate cases it is vertical, from the areola to the fold. In very large breasts or with a lot of sagging, a line in the fold is added (inverted T pattern).
When do you see the result of breast reduction?
In the first days swelling and tightness are normal, and you wear a post-surgical bra. Most patients return to their routine in 7 to 10 days, to social life in about 2 weeks and to sport between 4 and 6 weeks. The final result shows between 3 and 6 months.
